Description
The Toobish model rocket uses short tube sections for fins to guide the rocket through the air! It's a great first model for elementary school age kids, as it assembles without tools and with just wood glue or school glue. An adult can assemble the kit in about 15 minutes, though a classroom of kids may take an hour. Tube fins have somewhat higher drag than traditional rocket fins, which allows this model to be flown on a smaller field--which is great for successful recovery! It flies well on 1/2A through C 18mm motors, and its streamer recovery limits drift for easier recovery.
