Description
The BMS School Rocket is a great first rocket for 4th grade on up, and with streamer recovery, it recovers successfully in most any school yard on 18mm 1/2A motors, or in larger areas on A, B, or C motors. Built with a matte white 24mm airframe tube, balsa nose cone and balsa through-the-wall laser cut fins, and a cardboard motor tube mounted in laser cut plywood centering rings.
It requires just wood glue to build, though you will want to provide paper towels and masking tape or strapping tape. The rocket assembles in an hour following the directions provided in each bulk package. Packaged in bulk, with tubes packed in one bag, and small parts bags packed in another, all in the same box for each order.
The matte white cardboard tube readily accepts spray paint, tempura or other paints, markers, crayon and any stickers you want to provide, so students can decorate their rockets as much or as little as they please.

Great bang for the buck
Really liked this kit. It is basic but for the price is a great build. Not a first build though but not too complex with a little bit of experience.

Superb group build, first rocket or just a fun LP kit!
Great kit at a fantastic price. Having through the wall fins and a real motor mount makes this a first pre-mid power stepping stone for a new builder. Some CA and sandpaper is all you need to build this. And, Rocketry Works is fantastic--highly recommended!

Awesome Product!
We bought about 40 of these for a fourth grade rocketry project. They were perfect for our needs. The students put tremendous effort into building them, and felt a great sense of accomplishment when they finished. They are not too easy or hard for fourth graders, just perfect with the written instructions.
