56mm (BT-70) Bulkhead

These laser cut bulkheads are made from 1/8 inch birch plywood, and sized to fit securely at one end of a 56mm (BT-70) coupler, and inside a BT-70 body tube. Sold as a set of 2 bulkhead plates, one smaller than the other.  Each plate comes with 2 different mounting options; you can knock out the center 1/4 inch hole to mount a 1/4-20 screw eye, or you can knock out the 2 smaller side holes to thread a loop of Kevlar  shock cord. Then, just glue the two halves together, using the laser cut holes to align the smaller half in the center of the larger half. Epoxy the bulkhead to the forward end of a BT-70 coupler. For superior strength, you epoxy the smaller half inside the coupler tube, with beads of epoxy on both sides of the bulkhead.
